Where foreign visitors to French markets never dare to tread. Extreme Seafood. Supposedly like an oyster. A bit like eating multicoloured oystery-ears. Strong. Slightly rubbery. Not for the squeamish.
Some bunches sit too low for the harvesting machine, so they never get harvested. Shame to let them go to waste! We picked a few and cooked up a little Reduction de Syrah. Served here with fromage blanc – délicieux!
Merlot + Malbec + Cabernet Franc + Cabernet Sauvignon = ????
